We actively welcome new members, beginners as well as the more experienced. We have a reputation for being a friendly and sociable crowd. Young and old, male and female, beginner and expert. To provide a friendly social environment for the study and enhancement of the art of photography. Meetings on Wednesdays at 7.45pm unless otherwise specified elsewhere in the programme. The Cookhill and Studley Camera Club is one of the oldest clubs in the area, being established in 1961. The club meets weekly from September to May and offers a varied programme of lectures and competitions. The lectures are often given by distinguished experts and cover many topics and aspects of technique. The competitions provide friendly rivalry and incentive at various levels, providing opportunity to see and enjoy each other’s work. Members are also encouraged to enter a wide variety of external competitions which can result in having work on public display.
