Studley Gymnastics Club has now been running for 20 years and is based at Studley Leisure Centre & Studley High School. Studley Gymnastics Club teaches recreational gymnastics to boys and girls of all abilities from ages 4-16 during term time. Gymnastics is taught in a safe environment in groups to no more than 6 children. The groups rotate round different stations but the club coach, assistant coach and young gym leaders stay on one of the apparatus stations for the duration of the session. This way coaches get to know all of the children and gymnasts experience a variety of expertise. Parents particularly of younger children are allowed to stay and watch their childrens' progress. However, parents of older children are encouraged to leave the children in our care but are asked to pick them up promply from inside the gym. Children are not allowed to leave the gym to meet their parents unless written consent has been given. All gymnasts and coaches are members of British Gymnastics (B.A.G.A), the governing body of the sport. The membership fee guarantees personal accident insurance and access to the British Gymnastics (B.A.G.A) website.
