Join Avery for a morning walk through Middle Spernal to find out what invertebrates we can find throughout the Forest.
You will be taking a relaxing walk through a variety of areas both with public rights of way and with no public access including established woodland, grassland, new plantation, and ponds, seeking out any insects that use these habitats we create and protect.
Discover a wide range of invertebrates, from the 24-spot ladybird, to the 6-spot burnet moth. Late June is a great month to see old and freshly emerged insects in flight and exploring, looking for food sources.
Tickets are £5 (+ booking fee), with the option to make a donation to help grow the Forest by choosing a charity ticket. Children under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult. Due to the wildlife focus, this event is not suitable for dogs and places are limited.
